Dear Luna,
On the last day of 2011, we were invited by the owner of Hotel Regional (we’re still in Palenque, Mexico) to join him and his employees for lunch at the hall just across our room. I reckon we were the only guests around at that time. The invitation was timely for we were just about to head out for a meal.
We joined their year ender party for about an hour and excused ourselves as soon as they started talking about business.
In the afternoon we purchased a blouse for you which daddy didn’t want to buy at first when he found out that it costs 95 Mexican pesos. Obviously, he gave in cause on the above photo you’re wearing the cutesy top! You’re such an adorable niña, baby doll.
At night we had dinner at a nice restaurant named Mara’s where we had fish and steak which you loved eating with ketchup! You also had a fun time playing with a Mexican kid from another table. Too much fun in fact, that you slept straight away when we got back to our hostel room.
No fireworks on this side of the planet that welcomed 2012. Shall be good for Mother Earth. ¡Feliz Año Nuevo! my Luna. We love you heaps.
